The rectangular inset brèche marble top with a stiff-leaf cast surround, above a panelled frieze decorated with figures and landscapes and fronted by a sprung drawer, on fluted tapering legs joined by a tier with a drapery frame, on toupie feet, the underside twice stamped 'HENRY DASSON/1878'
