With two-stage barrel decorated with silver-inlaid characters and with bulbous muzzle heightened with applied silver lines, fore-sight with silver tip, pan with brass pan-cover, brass back-action lock struck with a mark, traditional three-quarter stock inlaid with brass panels, mostly engraved with flower-heads, and two silver discs each engraved with a further Japanese character, brass breech-band and barrel-band, and horn-tipped ramrod
