SIGNED DELANY, THIRD QUARTER OF THE 18TH CENTURY
With three-stage swamped barrels, engraved grooved tangs, border engraved rounded locks each signed 'DELANY', figured walnut full stocks each with swelled butt, silver escutcheons each engraved with the initials 'HCE', silver mounts including grotesque mask pommels, and later ramrods, in later fitted mahogany case lined in green baize with some accessories including brass-mounted copper three-way pistol-flask, the lid with trade label of Riviere, the exterior with circular brass escutcheon engraved with the name 'C.W. NICOLAY'
