COLT, NEW YORK CITY, SERIAL NO. 4737 FOR CIRCA 1850
With sighted barrel rifled with seven grooves with a slight left-hand twist, the barrel-lug with 'ADDRESS SAML COLT NEW YORK CITY' running from breech to muzzle, frame stamped 'COLT'S PATENT', brass grip-strap and square-back trigger-guard, one-piece walnut grips, and matching numbers with the exception of the barrel-wedge
