The body with four registers of animal friezes with dotted rosette and double chevron infill, the upper register fronted by a twin-headed monster with the heads of a griffin and goat, the paws of a lion and the tail of a bird, flanked by standing sphinxes, a standing lion on either side behind, the second register fronted by a grazing goat between a lion and a panther, with a lion facing a grazing deer, another deer with large antlers facing a hare below the handle, the third register fronted by a swan flanked by seated sphinxes, lion to the right, panther to the left, a panther facing a bull and a lion facing a boar below the handle, the lower register fronted with a bull, with panther and lion either side, a lion facing a boar and a panther facing a grazing goat below the handle, details in added red, rays above the foot
