Side A: Herakles fighting the Nemean lion, his cloak, quiver and bow hanging from a tree behind, traces of inscription above the figures; side B: Europa holding a garland seated on the bull, walking to the right, tendrils in the field; the scenes framed with ivy on either side and a band of tongues above, the draped figure of Athena under one handle and Iolaos wearing cloak and scabbard, holding large club, under the other handle, side A with band of felines and goats on the neck, rim with lotus bud chain, ivy chain on the side, palmettes on the handle plates, band of rays above the foot, details in added red and white
