ATTRIBUTED TO THE BLACK-THYRSUS PAINTER, CIRCA 380 B.C.
Side A: a symposium scene with four bearded men, each clad in a himation around waist and legs, ivy leaf fillets in their hair, reclining on two klinai with patterend and plain cushions, two tables in front, two holding phialai aloft, a draped female figure reclines on the left kline embracing the man beside her, four Doric columns in the field; side B: three standing himation clad youths, writing tablet and crossed circles in the field; palmettes under the handles, band of meander and chequerboard squares below the scenes, laurel below the rim, details in added white
