The mauve version was purchased from Bob Walker in April, 1966. The white version was purchased from Bob Walker in February, 1967.

Lot Essay

Georges Despret regularly exhibited his pâte-de-verre at the Société Nationale des Beaux-Arts from 1900 and also at the 1908 Franco-British Exhibition in London and the International Fair in Turin in 1911.
