Maker's mark of Ignatz Krautauer, Vienna, 1775, signed on the base "Gemacht durch Ignatz Krautauer zu Wien in dem Jahr 1775."
Vase-shaped, on laurel wreath base, cast and chased at intervals with scrolls and husks, with waisted stem, the partly fluted cylindrical body chased with four matted rectangular panels and with applied cast laurel festoons and swags, with reed and foliage tie band above, the waisted fluted neck with beaded band, reed-and-tie border and dolphin handle, the cast shell cover with berry and flower finial, signed and marked on base, the body with Vienna mark
