Tasting note: maturing but still deep with a rich core; surprisingly low-keyed, somewhat muffled nose; more positive on the palate, fairly sweet, full, rich, chewy, good extract. Delicious, but for the tannin. Last tasted Dec 2003 ***(**) M.B.
