Decorated with registers of dense scrolling vine, each terminating in a large flowerhead, with fall flap front opening to form a writing table, the interior with four drawers similarly decorated, the lower drawer with shallow arcade motifs, the sides with carrying handles, the back inlaid with a ten-pointed star, minor damages, probably originally surmounted by a mirror
