A GILT-BRONZE FIGURE OF A BODHISATTVA
QIANLONG INCISED TWELVE-CHARACTER INSCRIPTION DATING TO THE 7TH YEAR, (AD 1742)
Finely cast standing on a circular double-lotus pedestal, dressed in long sleeved robes incised at the hems with floral scrolls and tied at the chest, wearing beaded jewellery, the face with a serene expression and gentle smile, framed by pendulous earlobes and an elaborate diadem, the hair neatly arranged in a high chignon
12½ in. (32 cm.) high
