A RARE SMALL PAINTED ENAMEL PEAR-SHAPED VASE
QIANLONG BLUE-ENAMEL FOUR-CHARACTER MARK AND OF THE PERIOD (1736-95)
Finely enamelled around the globular body with two stylised phoenixes with long feathery tails in bright tones of pink, blue and green, all amidst meandering scrolls and long-bodied kui dragons reserved on a bright yellow ground, the flaring neck with a key-fret band and overlapping petals below scrolling tendrils bearing pomegranates, blooms and buds, all reserved on a pale lavender ground
4 in. (10 cm.) high
