QIANLONG UNDERGLAZE BLUE SIX-CHARACTER SEAL MARK AND OF THE PERIOD (1736-1795)
Of deep rounded form with sides tapering towards the glazed concave base, covered inside and out with an attractive pale greenish-grey glaze of even tone suffused with irregular dark grey ('iron wire') crackle joined by faint gold ('golden thread') crackle, the footrim dressed in a dark brown wash
8 3/8 in. (21.3 cm.) diam.
