A FINE PAIR OF UNDERGLAZE-BLUE AND PUCE-ENAMELLED 'IMMORTALS' BOWLS
DAOGUANG UNDERGLAZE-BLUE SIX-CHARACTER SEAL MARKS AND OF THE PERIOD (1821-50)
Each bowl with slightly rounded sides rising gently from a short straight-cut foot, the exterior with the Eight Daoist Immortals in underglaze blue and reserved on a ground of overlapping and crashing waves in puce enamel, the interior painted in underglaze blue with Shoulao beside a spotted deer reserved on a ground with puce-enamelled waves
