A LARGE FAMILLE ROSE DISH
19TH CENTURY
Well enamelled on the interior with two bees hovering above two flowering branches, the larger picked out in ochre-brown shades, bearing pink and white prunus blossoms and extending upwards around the curve of the dish, entwined by a smaller grey branch with greenish-white flowers, growing beside sprays of large iron-red peony blossoms and colourful lingzhi sprigs issuing from the trunk of the larger tree, all continuing over the mouth rim onto the underside of the dish with further peony blossoms extending in one direction around the sides and the prunus in the opposite direction
22¼ in. (56.5 cm.) diam.
