Lot Essay

With Patek Philippe Extract from the Archives confirming production of the present watch in 1951 and its subsequent sale on 4 December 1957. Furthermore delivered with Patek Philippe contemporary brown presentation box.

Reference 725 and the nearly identical reference 725/2 were in production from 1940 until around 1964. Until to date, less than 20 examples of this model are known to have survived.
