Of rectangular outline, the chased silver box with engraved gold borders, the cover and sides applied with engraved ivory panels, each studded with alternating cabochon sapphire and ruby flowerhead detail, gold and cabochon ruby thumb-piece, opening to reveal a mirror and grey suede interior, 19 x 11.5 x 3.5 cm., in a Gianmaria Buccellati blue grosgrain pouch (illustration not actual size)
