Arabic manuscript on buff paper, 208ff., plus 1 fly-leaf, each folio with 19ll. of black naskh, with gold circular verse markers, sura headings in blue naskh over gold ground within polychrome illuminated cartouches, text within gold and polychrome rules, gold marginal medallions with blue naskh, further markers in blue naskh in the margins, the opening with three heavily illuminated bifolia, the first with a cross and star lattice listing the sura headings in red and blue naskh, final folio with amended date of AH 1177 at bottom, some marginal repairs, in later gilt stamped morocco binding with flap
