Set with a cat's eye alexandrite weighing 10.02 carats, flanked on either side by an old mine-cut diamond, to the pavé-set diamond quarter-hoop, mounted in 18k gold, ring size 5½
Accompanied by report no. 57322 dated 10 September 2010 from the SSEF Swiss Gemmological Institute stating that the 10.02 carat cat's eye alexandrite is a natural chrysoberyl of Ceylon (Sri Lanka) origin, with no indications of any treatment and with a strong cat's eye effect (chatoyancy) and a moderate colour-change
Also accompanied by report no. GRS2001-06431 dated 27 June 2001 from the Gem Research Swiss Lab stating that the 10.02 carat cat's eye alexandrite is a natural chrysoberyl, colour changing from 'olive'-green (daylight) to 'salmon'-red (incandescent light), with no traces of radioactivity detected
