1780 AND 1781, INTERLACED BLUE L'S ENCLOSING DATE LETTERS CC AND DD, PAINTER'S MARKS FOR GUILLAUME NOEL TO BOTH
The first painted with a blue and gilt flowerhead issuing gilt scrolling foliage on a blue dot-pattern ground within a double gilt line roundel, the border with pink rose trellis-pattern reserved with six further panels, the second painted with cornflowers within gilt roundels, the border with six sprays of further flowers within gilt roundels divided by further blooms on a gilt dot-pattern ground within violet and shaped rectangular panels
