MARK OF JOHANNES HORSTMAN, AMSTERDAM, 1790, EACH WITH LATER TAX MARKS FOR 1795
The kettle inverted pear-shape, later chased foliage scrolls and diaperwork within cartouches, with an overhead part-ivory handle, the hinged cover cast and chased with foliage and flowers on matted ground, the stand with foliage legs and foliage and flower skirt, engraved with a crest, with a later plain lamp, marked under kettle and on stand, the kettle and stand each further struck with a later tax mark
