oval box, the cover centred by an oval miniature on ivory after François Boucher depicting L'amour désarmé, Cupid imploring Venus to return his arrow, surrounded by champlevé translucent blue enamelled floral garlands on a reeded engine-turned ground within a border of blue ribbon-twist surrounding white ovolos, the sides and base similarly enamelled with urns and vases
