A very similar box to the present bonbonnière in pinkish aventurine quartz was in The James A. de Rothschild Collection at Waddesdon Manor. The cover was set with a micromosaic of a nearly identical subject and was attributed to Giacomo Raffaelli.
A micromosaic plaque of a parrot was in the Diana Keggie Collection, sold Christie's, South Kensington, 30 November 2005, lot 114 and a further example was offered at Christie's, Geneva, 19 November 1997, lot 270.
