PROPERTY OF A LOS ANGELES INSIDER AND FRIEND OF CHRISTIE'S

Bought on release and placed in temperature and humidity controlled professional wine storage and moved only for this sale, this selection of Montrachet is part of a much larger collection sold over several sales. Charles Curtis, MW had dinner with one of the purchasers of the last selection of Montrachet from this consignor, and found the 1990 Ramonet Bâtard "shockingly fresh," and the 1989 "massive and powerful." For lovers of Montrachet, this is a rare opportunity to pick up pristinely stored white wines. The gem of this collection being, of course, the 1989 DRC.
