PROBABLY LATE 18TH EARLY 19TH CENTURY
The rectangular panelled top with carved and pieced frieze, each long side centred by a stylized bat on moulded square-section supports
36 in. (91.5 cm.) high; 64 in. (163 cm.) wide; 17 in. (44 cm.) deep
Provenance
Acquired by the present owner's mother, the Lady Janet Donald, the wife of the former British Ambassador, Sir Alan Donald, who served in Beijing between 1988 - 1991.
