Of irregular form, the granular, rough clay body decorated in underglaze blue and white, the glaze to the reverse falling short of the ring foot, with figures seated before a table of food and dancers, with inscription Oishi shi Gion Ichiriki, Koraku no homare, Hanabusa Itcho [Mr Oishi at the Ichiriki teahouse in Gion, in praise of healthy enjoyment - Hanabusa Itcho]
