A PAIR OF FRENCH ORMOLU-MOUNTED CHINESE PORCELAIN VASES
ONE ORMOLU BASE MOUNT LOUIS XV, THE OTHER MOUNTS 19TH CENTURY;
ONE VASE KANGXI (1662-1722) AND RESTORED, THE OTHER 19TH CENTURY
Each with polychrome and gilt-decorated powder blue ground, the shaped reserves depicting floral sprang, with further floral gilt decoration on the blue ground, above a foliate cast quadripartite base with ribbon-tied moulded border and outscrolled feet, the upper section with conformingly-cast twin handles, one vase with restored breaks, the gilding added in the 19th Century to match the vases
