A Louis XV vase clock of the same model in a case by Gaulier with porcelain panels to the plinth sold Christie's New York, 20 May 2008, lot 372 ($20,000). Its movement was signed Saint Jean and dated 1768. Another vase clock of this design sold, Christie's Paris, 13 December 2006, lot 339 (19,200 euros).
