Of serpentine breakfront outline with a grey marble top above a panelled frieze with fluting and foliage and a drawer between shuttered panels, above a door with an eighteenth century lacquer panel depicting a pagoda and enclosing a shelf, flanked by open shelves and nashiji panel doors with fluted columns, on turned tapering legs, labelled 'T.CROWTHER & S LTD., 282 North End Road, Fulham, London, S.W.6', and inscribed 'F. PARTRIDGE', originally with lacquer panels in the frieze, now black painted, the frieze mounts adapted and added
