CASE: bell top with replaced brass handle, glazed side panels, later block feet DIAL: 7 in. wide rectangular dial with cherub spandrels to silvered chapter ring, matted centre with date square, false pendulum aperture and ringed winding holes, signed 'Wm. Kipling London', later strike/silent and pendulum regulation, blued steel hands MOVEMENT: twin fusees, six pillars, later anchor escapement, rack strike on replaced bell, fully engraved back plate signed 'Wm. Kipling/LONDON', formerly with pull quarter repeat; replaced pendulum
