(Some browning to portrait and offsetting to facing page, bottom corners creased.) Green buckram for A.L. Ford lettered in black, original printed citron front wrapper bound in. Provenance: A.L. Ford (binding and bookplate). Issue with only one portrait (Lillywhite), which sold for 1 shilling. F.W. LIllywhite (1792-1854), one of the leading bowlers of his day, was the father of Frederick, John and James Lillywhite, all of whom contributed to cricket literature. Padwick 386.
