Reddish-brown morocco by Kelly & Sons, London, titled in gilt on spines and front covers, top edges gilt, others uncut (rubbed along joints, spines of vols I-III lightly sunfaded, light discolouration along upper extremities of vol. I).

NO. 10 OF 300 COPIES, signed by Schwerdt. PRESENTATION COPY, inscribed by Schwerdt to Mr Basil Dighton 'with the author's compliments in appreciation of his great taste and knowledge of fine prints', 1 January 1929. Basil Lewis Dighton, a collector of prints, published two books on the subject, Catalogue of an Exhibition of French Line Engravings of the late XVIII Century: collected by Mr. Basil Dighton and French Line Engravings of the late XVIII Century which he wrote together with H.W. Lawrence. (4)
