This lot will be removed to an off-site warehouse … 顯示更多 THE PROPERTY OF JEREMY GARDNER-LEWIS DECEASED (LOTS 285-296) A stock broker for most of his life, Jeremy Gardner-Lewis gave full expression to his collecting instinct when he bought an early nineteenth century villa in London W11 in the 1970's. His previous residence was a Thames Barge, which offered little scope for absorbing antique furniture and he was determined to make up for lost time attending house sales, all the London salerooms and all the dealers wherever he happened to be. In a comparatively short time and with great enjoyment he furnished his London house and country House in appropriate styles and a selection reflecting his eclectic taste in furniture is being offered here by order of his executors.
