QIANLONG SIX-CHARACTER SEALMARK AND OF THE PERIOD (1736-1795)
Finely potted with a floral mouth rim, edged with a black double line border, the interior medallion incised and green-enamelled against a bright lemon-yellow ground with a upright full-faced dragon in pursuit of a 'flaming pearl', amidst sprigs of blossom, surrounded by a pair of striding dragons on the cavetto, repeated on the exterior

Compare with a pair of related Qianlong dishes, with the same decoration on the front but eight detached flower sprays on the reverse, from the Edward T. Chow Collection, sold at Sotheby's Hong Kong 19 May 1981, lot 581.
