By the Imperial Porcelain Factory, St Petersburg, circa 1830
Comprising a teapot and cover, a sugar bowl and cover, a cream jug, two cups, and a tray; decorated with gilt ciselé foliate ornament on green grounds, the leaf-clad scrolling handles enclosing floral medallions, the cup handles also with female masks, the bases with incised potters' marks, the tray apparently unmarked
The tray 14¾ in. (37.5 cm.) diameter
