By the Imperial Porcelain Factory, St Petersburg, periods of Catherine II and Paul I
Comprising one large serving platter, one small serving platter, and six soup bowls, each with floral bouquet painted centre and shaped basketweave rims painted with sprigs of flowers and red line details, three marked under base with blue underglaze cypher 'EII', three marked under base with blue underglaze cypher 'PI', two marked under bases with crossed swords and star, possibly for the Gardner Factory, 1780-1790, some further incised with numerals and inscribed with the Cyrillic letters 'P[ridvornyi] K[ontrol']'
