Circular, with gilt rim, the centre decorated en grisaille with an ichthyocentaur abducting a maiden on a red ground, surrounded by bands of classical-style ornament, the rounded flat handle painted with a rabbit on a red ground, marked under base with overglaze gilt crowned monogram of Nicholas II and dated 1898
