A Porcelain Cup and Saucer
By the Mezer Porcelain Factory, Baranovka, 1829
Bulbous, on waisted circular foot, the oxblood glazed cup and saucer with continuous ciselé laurel borders, the paisley shaped gilt handle emanating from a moulded leaf, marked underneath cup and saucer with black double-headed eagle and dated 1829, with Cyrillic inscriptions 'Baranovka f: Mezer' and the numeral 8.
