A Silver-Gilt and Champlevé Enamel Bowl, Cream Jug and Sugar Spoon
Mark of Antip Kuzmichev, Moscow, circa 1890, retailed by Tiffany & Co.
The bowl tapering circular, on conforming spreading foot, the sides champlevé enamelled with light blue arabesque border enclosing translucent red floral and opaque turquoise flower heads with white pellets and translucent royal blue scrolls, the foot and two pierced scrolling handles similarly enamelled, the reverse with vacant gilt cartouche, the front enamelled in blue with Cyrillic inscription 'For Many Years' within oval cartouche, the cream jug similarly enamelled, the front cartouche enamelled in blue with Cyrillic inscription 'In Memory', the spoon similarly enamelled with shaped geometric handle, the bowl and cream jug marked under body and dated 1893, the spoon marked on stem
