Contemporary green straight-grain morocco, spine gilt in 6 compartments with repeated lyre ornament, gilt edges concealing FORE-EDGE PAINTING DEPICTING BOSTON HARBOR (joints and head and foot of spine lightly rubbed); morocco pull-off slip case by Sangorski & Sutcliffe. Provenance: S. H. Haslam (bookplate); Estelle Doheny (bookplate; her sale Christie's New York, 17 October 1988, lot 1289).
