Contemporary black straight-grained morocco, covers with gilt and blind fillet and roll-tooled borders, rounded corner ornaments, flat spine in 5 compartments with 4 raised bands, gilt-lettered in one compartment, gilt or blind ornaments in the rest, board edges and turn-ins gilt, edges gilt concealing a DOUBLE FORE-EDGE PAINTING OF WARWICK CASTLE and WINDSOR CASTLE AND WILLIAM SHAKESPEARE (lightly rubbed, particularly to joints, spine faded); modern cloth slipcase.
