4 volumes, 8o (255 x 154 mm). Each title with an engraved vignette (some light spotting or browning). Contemporary green straight-grained morocco, sides gilt-panelled, spine in 6 gilt-panelled compartments, the second 2 gilt-lettered, edges gilt concealing fore-edge paintings of THE OLD QUEEN'S HEAD TAVERN ISLINGTON; MARYLEBONE GARDENS; FLORA TEA GARDENS, BAYSWATER; AND THE OLD "TABARD" INN, SOUTHWARK (volume 2 rebacked, old spine laid down, some wear to joints, extremities and spines). Provenance: Mary Erskine (ownership inscription in ink dated 1803).
