Provenance: William Stirling-Maxwell (1818-1878) (bookplate on front paste down, smaller "Keir" bookplate on rear endpaper and binding).
Later edition (the first was published in Seville, 1585). "This work is divided into four books: Book I on geometry with an appendix on sundials; Book II on proportions of the human body and its parts; Book III on animals and birds; Book IV on the five orders of architecture and church fittings" Fowler 29.
