FIRST EDITION. A very fine series of woodcuts of animals decorates this book, cut by Christoph Jeghers, one of the best woodcutters of the Rubens school. RARE: only three copies have been sold in at least the last thirty years, according to American Book Prices Current, and none since 1987. See Wood, p.250 (lists an octavo edition).
