Excellent appearance. Levels: five into neck, one base of neck
Tasting Note: "..at Bob Dickinson's installation dinner at the Biltmore, Coral Gables. Spectacular setting, all at one very long table, like a state banquet at Windsor Castle. The '82 was still enormously deep; a very good rich mouthful, leanness not noted but still creaking a bit. Last noted coping with tournedos of Scottish beef at a Vintner's Court luncheon, Nov 2001. Most recently: fairly deep, velvety; classic cedar cigar box nose that opened up deliciously, touch of liquorice; rich but tannic. Unfleshy for an '82. Last tasted Sept 2003 **** M.B.
