Tasting Note: "At the Hotel Louis C Jacob in Hamburg in 2000: still deep, intense; vibrant fruit, whiff of raspberry; a big mouthfilling wine, though I noticed a trace of bitterness on the finish which, I am sure, will wear off in time. Most recently, a jeroboam: almost opaque, still youthful;; spicy; full of flavour, quite a bite. Last noted at Bad Schwalbach, Oct 2001 ***(*) 2008 - 2020 M. B.
