TWO ROMAN GLASS VESSELS
CIRCA 3RD-4TH CENTURY A.D.
Including a jug, olive-gold in color, the piriform ribbed body blown into a mold and further inflated, the wide base folded out and in, with a wide neck and trefoil mouth, an applied blue/aubergine trail joined to the rim and wound spirally around the mouth, and a blue handle; and a sprinkler flask, honey-gold in color, free-blown, the piriform body constricted on the interior at the base of the cylindrical neck, the wide mouth flanged, with applied twin green handles
