The flat oval stone engraved with a soldier in profile to the right on a groundline, nude but for a cloak draped over his right arm, a crested helmet high on his head, his scabbard projecting behind, standing with his weight on his on his right leg, his left raised, the foot resting on a rocky formation, his left arm lowered with his hand supporting his left thigh, his fingers visible on the underside, with a single tendril rising out of the formation and terminating in a grape cluster; mounted as a ring in a modern gold setting
