Oblong 8o (164 x 225 mm). Additional engraved title after Ferdinando Bibiena, engraved coat-of-arms of the dedicatee, Ranuccio Farnese, 48 engraved plates by N.A. after Philipus Bernouil on 47 leaves. (Occasional light spotting, one tear in text repaired without loss.) Modern blue morocco, gilt edges. Provenance: V. de Gobbis (penciled inscription).

Second edition. Vezzani was a master of the sword, pike and banner at the Collegio de Nobili at Parma. M. d'Ayala, Bibliografia Militare-Italiana, p.213 (1628 edition); Gelli 186; Thimm p.322; not in Vigeant.
